Former Pinson Valley star and current Auburn quarterback Bo Nix will miss the remainder of the 2021 football season.

AUBURN, AL — Former Pinson Valley star and current Auburn signal-caller Bo Nix injured his ankle Saturday and will miss the remainder of the 2021 season. Nix will undergo surgery Monday.
Nix announced on social media Sunday that he sustained the injury during Auburn's loss to Mississippi State on Saturday.
"Bones break and things change, but God is always the same," Nix said via Twitter Sunday. "One of my favorite verses is John 13:7, 'Jesus replied, You do not realize now what I am doing, but later you will understand.' The Lord’s timing is our schedule. The road to recovery begins tomorrow. Thanks everyone for the thoughts and prayers!"
