Center Point Shooting Leaves Man In Critical Condition
A shooting at a Center Point apartment complex Sunday left a man in critical condition at UAB Hospital.

JEFFERSON COUNTY, AL — A shooting at a Center Point apartment complex Sunday left a man in critical condition. The incident occurred just after 6 p.m. in the 1800 Block of Martinique Drive.
Deputies found a 21-year-old man suffering from gunshot wounds when they arrived on the scene, according to Sgt. Joni Money of the Jefferson County Sheriff's Office. The man was taken to UAB hospital where he remains in critical condition.
Money said circumstances surrounding the shooting are still unclear. Anyone with information on this case is asked to contact the JCSO at 205-325-1450.
