Center Point Woman Arrested After Confrontation On School Bus
The Jefferson County Sheriff's Office said a 37-year-old woman boarded a Jefferson County school bus and confronted a child.
JEFFERSON COUNTY, AL — A 37-year-old Center Point woman has been arrested after law enforcement officials say she boarded a Jefferson County school bus and assaulted an 11-year-old child.
Nannatt Waldrop boarded the bus in the 1800 block of Martinique Drive, according to Sgt. Joni Money of the Jefferson County Sheriff's Office. Money said Waldrop confronted the 11-year-old student whom Waldrop suspected of bullying her child. The child and Waldrop were then involved in an altercation.
Waldrop was placed under arrest and is being charged with assault, trespassing on a school bus and disorderly conduct. Her bonds total $10,500.
