Drugs Seized By JeffCo Sheriff In Center Point
An investigation and subsequent traffic stop by the Jefferson County Sheriff's Office resulted in the seizure of numerous illegal drugs.
JEFFERSON COUNTY, AL — the Jefferson County Sheriff's Office's Vice and Narcotics Units seized large quantities of cocaine, methamphetamine and other drugs during a traffic stop in Center Point Thursday.
Detectives, assisted by the JCSO Star-1 helicopters, implemented a stop which yielded 84.40 grams of methamphetamine, 14.97 grams of cocaine, as well as marijuana and hydrocodone pills.
Otis Donxreal Maddox was charged with two counts of trafficking, possession with the intent to distribute, possession of marijuana first degree and unlawful possession of controlled substances.

He was placed in the Jefferson County Jail and was released on bond early Friday morning.
