Employee Drives Vehicle Into Pinson Restaurant

JEFFERSON COUNTY, AL — An employee at a Jack's Restaurant in Pinson crashed into the restaurant early Friday morning. The incident occurred just after 5 a.m.

Sgt. Joni Money of the Jefferson County Sheriff's Office said deputies found that a 29-year-old employee drove their Chrysler van into the front of the restaurant. The driver was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Money said employees were inside at the time of the crash, but none were injured in the incident.
