First, a Blount County resident was arrested and charged with multiple offenses for his participation in the Jan. 6 breach of the U.S. Capitol. He is the 11th Alabama resident to face charges related to the incident in Washington. Also in the news, a domestic dispute in Tarrant turned deadly, as Tarrant police investigate a homicide.
