Man Killed In Center Point Shooting

JEFFERSON COUNTY, AL — A shooting in Center Point early Friday morning resulted in one fatality, as Jefferson County Sheriff's deputies responded to a convenience store in the 1100 block of Center Point Parkway to find a man dead from gunshot wounds just before 5:30 p.,.

Sgt. Joni Money said investigators believe the shooting occurred at a nearby apartment complex, and the victim was actually taken to the convenience store where he died.
