First, there's a recap of the Pinson City Council meeting where the city finally approved coronavirus recovery funds for employees. This resolution has been on the table since August. - The Pinson City Council finally authorized $36,500 from Coronavirus State and Local Fiscal Recovery Funds to grant premium pay to the city’s full-time, permanent part-time and seasonal employees. (TrussvilleTribune)
- A Trussville family plans to host a fundraiser to raise donations for veteran suicide awareness in the form of a haunted house in Stockton Oct. 30 and 31. (TrussvilleTribune)
- One person was killed and three persons of interest have been detained after a shooting in east Birmingham Sunday. (Alabama's News Leader)
