Publix To Open New Metro Birmingham Location
Another Publix supermarket is coming to the Birmingham metro, continuing the Florida-based chain's expansion in the area.
IRONDALE, AL — Another Publix grocery store will open in the Birmingham metro, this time in the Irondale area. A Birmingham Business Journal report said Publix has committed to opening a store on Grants Mill Road.
Irondale mayor James Stewart confirmed to the BBJ that the grocery store is coming to the location, at Old Leeds Road and Grants Mill near Shades Valley High School.
