Hello again Trussville! I'm back with your daily news digest. Hopefully everyone stays safe amid this nasty weather. Seems like we've had more rain in the last two months than we had all year last year (more on that below). Today in the news, aside from the weather (which you'll read about below also), The Alabama Sports Writers Association football poll was released tpday and there's a new no. 1 ream in Class 6A, and it happens to be undefeated Clay-Chalkville. - All of this rain has the National Weather Service issuing a flash flood watch for most of central Alabama, including Jefferson and St. Clair counties, and has prompted a tornado watch until later Tuesday night. (Birmingham Patch)
