Train Stuck On Tracks In Trussville For 9 Days
A Norfolk Southern train is stalled on the tracks causing traffic problems for the people of Trussville.

TRUSSVILLE, AL — A stalled train has been blocking traffic in Trussville for nine days now. The Norfolk Southern train stopped at the intersection of South Chalkville Road in Trussville, according to a WBRC report.
Mayor Buddy Choat said he has reached out to Norfolk Southern about the stalled train multiple times but has not received an answer as to when the train will move.
"We can’t seem to get the right answer," Choat told WBRC. "I was told about an hour ago that they have been out here three times with crews to move this train. Unfortunately, there’s some mechanical issues, and why they don’t just pull the train in, I don’t know."
