TRUSSVILLE, AL — The high school football playoffs enter Round 2 Friday night with multiple Trussville-area schools still alive in the hunt for a state championship.
Friday night's games include Hewitt-Trussville taking on top-ranked 7A foe Hoover, while the 6A no. 1 team, Clay-Chalkville, hosts Briarwood.
Also in action Friday night are Pinson Valley, who takes on Oxford, and Center Point, who travels to Ramsay.
