TRUSSVILLE, AL — High school football kicks off the 2021 season Friday night, and Patch has you covered if you are looking to keep up with the scores for Trussville-area schools.
In Week 1 action, Hewitt-Trussville hosts cross-town rival Pinson Valley, while Clay-Chalkville hosts Shades Valley.
Center Point High School's game against Wenonah was cancelled due to COVID-19 precautions.

"Out of an abundance of caution, the Wenonah-Center Point football game, scheduled for Friday, August, 20, 2021 is being cancelled because of the impact of COVID-19 on the Wenonah High School football team." Center Point head coach George Bates said Wednesday via social media.
