Trussville Man Shot Multiple Times Near Apartment Complex

TRUSSVILLE, AL — A Trussville man is hospitalized and in critical condition after being shot multiple times near an apartment complex.

Irondale police told WVTM-TV that the 64-year-old victim was found on the ground at a gas station Wednesday morning with gunshot wounds throughout his body — including face.

Officers told the TV station that the victim may have been the target of a carjacking or robbery attempt at nearby Colonial Village at Trussville.

The victim was transported to UAB Hospital for treatment, WIAT-TV reported.

No arrests have been made at this time.
