Trussville Resident Makes Troy University's '87' Honors List

TROY, AL — Several Birmingham-area students were named as "The 87" honorees at Troy University recently, including a Trussville resident.

The 87, formerly Who's Who, recognizes juniors, seniors and graduate students who have excelled in campus leadership and in their academic area.

Local students named to The 87 include:

• Devontey Anderson of Irondale
• John Atkins of Birmingham
• Caroline Duffee of Hoover
• Brittany Hampton of Trussville
• Haylee Jemison of Vestavia Hills

Hampton, a track star at Hewitt-Trussville High School, is studying nursing at Troy.
