Trussville Shopping Center Sells For $25.5 Million
Birmingham developer Blackwater Resources sold the Homestead Village retail development for $25.5 million.
TRUSSVILLE, AL — A Trussville shopping center has been sold in a $25.5 million deal. Homestead Village was purchased by joint venture between Ohio-based Select Strategies Realty and private investment firm McDonald Group Inc. in Birmingham, according to the Birmingham Business Journal.
The 106,606-square-foot retail center on Gadsden Highway was developed by Blackwater Resources starting in 2015 and completed in 2017. The shopping center is home to businesses such as ALDI, HomeGoods, Petco, Five Below, Ulta, Panera Bread and Jimmy John’s.
