Wreck In Jefferson County Results In Fatality

JEFFERSON COUNTY, AL — A wreck early Monday morning in Jefferson County claimed the life of a 27-year-old man. The wreck occurred just after 2 a.m. on Warrior Jasper Road.

The single-vehicle crash involved a GMC Sierra truck that had rolled over, according to Sgt. Joni Money of the Jefferson County Sheriff's Office. The driver was pronounced dead on the scene.

Money said the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Traffic Accident Reconstruction Team is investigating the cause and circumstances surrounding the accident.
