Board of Education Explores Options For Gresham Elementary

The BOE is preemptively planning for the use of Gresham Elementary ahead of Jefferson County's decision on Vestavia's offer to buy.

VESTAVIA HILLS, AL — While the Jefferson County Board of Education considers the offer made by the Vestavia Hills Board of Education to purchase Gresham Elementary, Vestavia Hills is preemptively planning for the school's use in the city. The board will discuss potential uses for the school ahead of Jefferson County's regular meeting on Nov. 7.

The board will host a work session and public engagement meeting at Vestavia Hills Elementary East at 7 p.m. to discuss options for Gresham's use, the first of a string of meetings planned to get public feedback on the purchase.
