The Great Greek Mediterranean Grill Opens Its First Alabama Location

Local diners can now enjoy the fresh, healthful cuisine of The Great Greek Mediterranean Grill® in Vestavia Hills. The fast-casual Mediterranean restaurant recently opened its first-ever Alabama location at 700 Montgomery Highway, Suite 190, in Vestavia Hills City Center Plaza. The 3,150-square-foot restaurant is owned and operated by Anil Patel and Anand Prajapati.

To commemorate the opening, the restaurant will host a fundraiser on March 1 in which 25 percent of the proceeds from sales for the day will be donated to the Boys & Girls Clubs of Central Alabama to support its mission of providing life-enhancing programs to enable and motivate all youth within a safe environment to reach their full potential.

The Great Greek Mediterranean Grill is an award-winning restaurant concept serving a menu of Mediterranean favorites in an elevated fast-casual atmosphere. Guests can enjoy modern interpretations of classic dishes like the Great Greek Gyro as well as Lamb, Steak and Chicken Souvlaki Plates. Entrées are complemented by fresh Greek salads and four signature house-made dips, including Hummus, Tzatziki, Melitzanosalata (eggplant dip) and Tirokafteri (spicy roasted red pepper).

Patel and Prajapati, the franchise owners, are friends who bring several years of dining and business experience to their partnership.
