Medical Device Startup Relocates To Vestavia Hills
A local medical device startup has moved its offices from downtown Birmingham to Liberty Park.
VESTAVIA HILLS, AL — Local medical device company Rampart IC has moved its home office from Hardware Park in downtown Birmingham to the Urban Center in Liberty Park. The company made the move to 2,000 square feet of office space at 1500 Urban Center Drive, according to a Birmingham Business Journal report.
Rampart IC, which provides fully adjustable and portable system that provides full-bodied radiation protection for doctors and their technicians, had been subleasing space in Hardware Park from another business but also outgrew a secondary location, the BBJ reports.
The Liberty Park headquarters will house financial, legal and operational support. The manufacturing of the devices and necessary tools will continue to be done in Bessemer and the Dominican Republic.
