VESTAVIA HILLS, AL — Jake Pratt has become something of a local celebrity since his August touchdown run, and more Division I schools are beginning to take notice. Auburn University invited the Vestavia Hills High School senior, who has Down Syndrome, to come to campus on Saturday for a “recruiting” visit, according to WBRC.

Pratt was able to meet with other recruits before the Tigers’ game as well as coach Gus Malzhan, Kerryon Johnson, Travis Williams, Jarrett Stidham and Jason Campbell, along with others. WBRC reported that Malzahn said he was impressed with Pratt’s run, and Pratt was sure to reassure the National Championship-winning coach of his speed.
