Vestavia Residents Graduate From Georgia Tech

ATLANTA, GA — The Georgia Institute of Technology presented degrees to approximately 4,900 undergraduate and graduate students during the Institute's 261st Commencement exercises December 17-18 at Bobby Dodd Stadium.

Multiple Birmingham-area residents were among those graduates, including some Vestavia residents.

Local students receiving degrees this fall include:

• Andrew Kinnaird of Mountain Brook - Master of Science in Analytics
• David Sessamen of Vestavia Hills - Master of Science in Cybersecurity
• Ravindra Sheelavant of Vestavia Hills - Master of Business Administration in Management of Technology
• Kevin Mann of Birmingham - Master of Science in Computer Science
• Wei Lv of Hoover - Master of Science in Computer Science
• John Martin of Mountain Brook - Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering with Highest Honors
• Marzeah Khorramabadi of Mountain Brook - Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering with High Honors
• Michael Maye of Hoover - Bachelor of Science in Business Administration
• Breland Morrissette of Birmingham - Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with Highest Honors
