- A judge declared a mistrial in the federal case surrounding the fatal shooting of 19-year-old Dalvin Hollins in 2016 by Tempe police. The jury was deadlocked on all but two claims. (The Arizona Republic)
- A Tempe mother, and her 13 and 7-year-old sons were reported missing Friday after last being seen Aug. 13. They possibly went camping in the Payson or Prescott area before they went missing. (12news.com KPNX)
