Tempe Neighborhoods Together To Host Food Drive Feb. 13

Tempe Neighborhoods Together and the City of Tempe will collect food donations to help feed local people and pets.

TEMPE, AZ — Food banks in the Tempe are have seen unprecedented demand in the last year, according to city officials.

As a result, and Tempe Neighborhoods Together in cooperation with City of Tempe will host a drive-up food drive on Feb. 13 from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m. to help feed local people and pets.

The food drive will take place at the Tempe Public Library Complex at the Pyle Adult Recreation Center parking lot. The address is 655 E. Southern Ave. in Tempe.

For those interested in donating non-perishable goods or pet food, when you arrive to the drive-thru:

  • Remain in your vehicle
  • Wear a face mask when talking to volunteers
  • Follow onsite directional signage

Benefiting Tempe agencies ready to accept community donations include: The Aris Foundation - Feeding the Homeless, Tempe Community Action Agency Food Back and Saving One Life-Feeding Homeless Cats and Dogs.
