  1. Benton County officials are asking for the public's help locating a missing 17-year-old. Serenity Lynne Black was last seen Tuesday, May 16, when she reportedly told friends she wanted to run away. Police believe Black, who has hazel eyes and brown hair, could be with friends in McDonald or Barry County, Missouri. Anyone with information is asked to contact police at (479) 271-1008, extension 3640. (KFSM 5)
  2. Bentonville's Municipal Airport and Thaden Field are set to reopen Friday after temporarily closing at the beginning of last month. The airport closed on May 1 to initiate a construction project that would widen the runway from 65 to 75 feet. City officials expect the airport to close nightly for an additional 30 days in order for crews to complete electrical work. (Westside Eagle Observer)
  3. A new roadwork project hopes to improve north-south traffic throughout Benton County. On Tuesday, the Arkansas Department of Transportation announced a seven-phase project intended to help the region's roads better meet population needs. ARDOT will host a community feedback meeting down the road in Centerton at the Centerton Community Room from 4:00-7:00 p.m. tonight. (KFSM 5)
