- Bentonville's 8th Street reopened to traffic as construction progresses, with the focus now shifting to the 8th and A Street intersection. Local businesses along 8th Street expressed concerns about customer accessibility due to ongoing detours and increased traffic. The city's Transportation Director, Dennis Birge, assured the construction is following the planned timeline, with future phases including road widening and pedestrian-friendly improvements expected to last through 2024. - Fletcher Groseclos, a 28-year-old man from Benton County, has been arrested on charges of internet stalking of a child after allegedly attempting to engage in sexual activity with a girl under the age of 15. The arrest was made by Siloam Springs police detectives who posed as the minor during a sting operation. Court documents reveal that Groseclos communicated with the undercover detectives over a period of time and had planned to bring the underage girl to his home in Bentonville for sexual purposes. - Construction has commenced on a new flyover bridge as part of the Razorback Greenway near the Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art in Bentonville. The bridge, set to be completed by mid-next year, will feature separate paths for the Razorback Greenway and the All-American Mountain Bike Trail, ensuring the safety of both groups. The project, which includes a 1,053-foot-long greenway extension elevated on piers, is expected to enhance the trail experience and become an iconic spot along the Greenway.
