- The City of Bentonville has partnered with Pedal It Forward to host a bicycle drive aimed at giving bikes to neighbors in need. The event was held in celebration of the city's 15oth anniversary, with giveaways taking place at Creekside Park and Memorial Park last weekend. The donated bikes are set to be cleaned, repaired, and then gifted to recipients later this year. (KFSM 5Newsonline)
- The Bentonville City Council approved a pay increase for entry-level police officers. The approved pay raise increases pay for entry officers from $19.67 an hour to $24 an hour β an increase of 22 percent. Officials say the raise was approved in hopes of keeping the city competitive with other local police departments. (Northwest Arkansas Democrat-Gazette)
- A new pickleball facility is slated to open in Bentonville in the next two years. The indoor pickleball courts will be part of startup Picklemall's plans to open 50 locations around the country. Other cities slated to see the construction of new indoor courts include Minneapolis, Chicago, and Oklahoma City. (Northwest Arkansas Democrat-Gazette)
