1. From Jul. 10-16, Bentonville will host the inaugural Honor Fest, a week-long event aimed at honoring and supporting veterans, military members, and first responders. The festival will feature interactive activities, guest speakers, and opportunities for workforce and entrepreneurship development. 2. In case you missed it, the City of Bentonville is still collecting items for its 150th Anniversary Time Capsule, to be sealed this September. According to city officials, submissions —including multiple U.S. coins printed in 2023 and a library card commemorating the city's 150th — have begun to roll in. 3. Benton County has been ranked the top county to live in Arkansas, according to recent data from 24/7 Wall St. The county has a poverty rate of just 8.1 percent, compared to the state average of 16 percent.
