- A lawsuit brought against a Bentonville West High School geometry teacher was dismissed by a judge Thursday. Charles and Kisha Gilchrist initially filed the lawsuit in May, accusing John Jeffrey of threatening their daughter, a student. The couple filed a motion last week requesting the suit be dismissed. (Arkansas Online)
- An all-state wide receiver from Bentonville has committed to play football at the University of Arkansas for the 2024 season. Junior CJ Brown received offers from a total of eight Power 5 schools before making the decision to join the Razorbacks. Brown had a total of 75 receptions for 1,284 yards and 16 touchdowns last season. (KAIT 8)
- The Ra-Ve Cultural Foundation will offer a Bharatanatyam Dance performance at the Bentonville Public Library on Friday, Jun. 23. The event begins at 2:00 p.m. and is free to members of the public. Tickets can be picked up at the Children's Desk as early as 9:00 a.m. on Friday. (Arkansas Online)
