  1. Arkansas Governor Asa Hutchinson has appointed Bentonville's Duane Neal to the state's Motor Vehicle Commission. Neal's appointment will expire on Jan. 14, 2029. The commission is responsible for licensing and regulating the motor vehicle industry within the state. The Commission is located in Little Rock. (Governor.Arkansas.gov)
  2. Two Bentonville residents are seeking the Republican nomination for the Benton County Quorum Court's District 9 seat. Justice of the Peace Susan Anglin and Shea Crosby are vying for the nomination. Republicans hold all 15 seats of the Benton County Quorum Court. (Arkansas Democrat Gazette)
  3. The Arkansas Cinema Society is hosting its Film Development Conference in Bentonville this weekend. The two-day event kicked off on Friday at Thaden School in downtown Bentonville.
