- In Benton County, two juveniles have been charged as adults in connection with robberies. William Arredondo, Jr, 17, and Ty Seger Myers, 16 have been charged with aggravated robbery and theft of property for an incident on Apr. 13. Police say the victim was driven to Baker Hayes Urban Trailhead, where the two juveniles baited him out of the vehicle and held a gun to his head demanding his wallet, shoes, and anything else on his person. The victim was left uninjured and was also a juvenile. Police have since been able to recover the stolen items. (KNWA)
- In nearby Bella Vista, a man who broke into his ex-girlfriend's house and assaulted her has been sentenced to 10 years in prison. Currie already had warrants out for his arrest, and police hunted him down for days after the incident in 2020.
