7 Bodies Found At CA Fireworks Warehouse That Exploded
Golden State authorities have found the bodies of seven people previously reported missing.
ESPARTO, CA — The bodies of seven people who were previously reported missing were found inside a fireworks warehouse that exploded in Northern California last week.
Fireworks set off on Tuesday sparked a massive blaze at a warehouse in the small farming community of Esparto, causing the building to collapse and igniting several nearby spot fires.
While human remains have been recovered from the wreckage, the identities of the dead have not been released and pending family notifications, Yolo County wrote in a statement Sunday.

Devastating Pyrotechnics operated the facility, which is owned by the company's CEO, Kenneth Chee, according to multiple reports.


The fire, which sent massive smoke plumes into the sky over the town, charred 78 acres and was dubbed the Oakdale fire, according to Cal Fire.

The company released this statement:
“Our hearts and thoughts are with those we lost, their families, and everyone impacted in our community,” the company said in a statement last week. “Our focus will remain on those directly impacted by this tragedy, and we will cooperate fully with the proper authorities in their investigation.”
