Bottled coffees and 87 other products from Stumptown, Cafe Grumpy, Oatly and more were recalled over botulism poisoning concerns.
CALIFORNIA — A California-based maker of coffee and nutritional drinks has expanded a recall to dozens more products amid concerns of potential bacterial contamination that could cause botulism poisoning, officials said Tuesday.
Cafe Grumpy Ready to Drink Cold Brew Coffee, some products of Organic Valley 1% lowfat milk, some Kate Farms nutrition shakes, some cartons of PediaSure Harvest, some cartons of Ensure Harvest and other products were added to the list of recalled brands, Lyons Magnus announced, a company headquartered in Fresno.

Clostridium botulinum can cause Cronobacter Sakazakii, a rare and severe form of food poisoning which can begin from six hours to two weeks after eating or drinking products that contain the toxin, according to the FDA.
Common symptoms include fever, vomiting and urinary tract infection. Vulnerable and immunocompromised people may be more susceptible to infection, officials said.
"Anyone who has a recalled product in his or her possession should dispose of it immediately or return it to the place of purchase for a refund," the company said.
Anyone with questions about the recall may contact the 24/7 Lyons Recall Support Center at 1-800-627-0557.
