Missing CA Teen, Vehicle Pulled From Reservoir
Investigators confirmed they have found 16-year-old Kiely Rodni and her vehicle in a Northern California lake.

TRUCKEE, CA — The search for a missing Northern California teen came to an end this week after authorities found a submerged vehicle that belonged to 16-year-old Kiely Rodni.
A volunteer search group found a car and a body in the Prosser Reservoir in Nevada County on Monday, just north of Truckee, according to the Placer County Sheriff's Office.
Investigators did not immediately identify the body as Rodni on Monday, but her family released a statement on Monday, announcing an end to the search. On Tuesday, an autopsy confirmed that the body found was Rodni, the sheriff's office announced on Facebook.

"Kiely will surely remain with us even though we will not get her back," the Rodni-Nieman family wrote before the autopsy.
Rodni was last seen in the early morning hours at a party with several hundred other teenagers on Aug. 6. The party was held at the Prosser Family Campground.

Authorities have been searching for the girl for weeks.
The volunteer group who found her, Adventures With Purpose," announced on Facebook Monday that they entered the water around 10:45 a.m. on Sunday and found the vehicle upside down around 11:15 a.m., about 55 feet from the shore.
"We have not been able to positive identify [the victim], but it’s more than likely where we are today," Nevada County Sheriff Shannan Moon told reporters, NBC reported.
A toxicology report was scheduled for Tuesday, police said.
The California Highway Patrol reported that it was conducting a fatal accident investigation.
