is hosting a “Community Wide Family Fun Day” and Preschool The Open House will be held from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the school and will include hot dogs, games, arts & crafts and fun for the whole family. There will be kid-friendly vendors and tours of the campus.

The Camarillo Wings Association will host the WWII 325th Fighter Group "Checkertail Clan" during its 67th Annual Reunion at this year's "Wings Over Camarillo" Air Show with support from volunteers from the Southern California Wing of the Commemorative Air Force, EAA Chapter 723 and the Ventura County 99s. The show, Aug. 18-19, starts at 9 a.m. at 455 Aviation Dr, Camarillo. Tickets are $15. For more information, click here.
4. Star Parties Hosted by Oak Canyon Astronomy Group in Oak Park

5. The Grandmothers of Invention at the Canyon Club
The Grandmothers of Invention are the only Frank Zappa/Mothers of Invention alumni who have been consistently performing the music of the maestro since 2003. Showtime is 10 p.m. and tickets are $24.
