Aug. 4: Fun at Reyes Adobe; 'Aventures of Tintin'

The ultimate romantic story is being presented at the The Kingsmen Shakespeare Festival through the Kingsmen Shakespeare Company, the professional theater company of California Lutheran University. General admission is $15 for adults and free for those under 18. Festival grounds open at 5:30 p.m. for pre-show picnicking and entertainment. 3. Hands-on at Reyes Adobe

The Agoura Hills Department of Community Services Program will and docent-led public tours at the from 1-4 p.m. on Saturdays. Suggested donations for the tour: $3 for adults, $2 for seniors, and $1 for chidlren age 5 to 12. Children under 5 enter free.

4. The Adventures of Tintin

Families can enjoy a free screening of The Adventures of Tintin at the Valley Cultural Center at 7 p.m. at Warner Center Park, 5800 Topanga Canyon Blvd., Woodland Hills. The PG-rated Steven Spielberg film tells the story of Tintin, a reporter, and Captain Haddock as they search for a sunken ship commanded by Haddock's ancestor.
