Burglars Target Conejo Valley Restaurants: Deputies

Sheriff's deputies are asking for help in identifying two men who were caught on camera breaking into an Agoura Hills restaurant.

AGOURA HILLS, CA - Sheriff's deputies are asking for help in identifying two men who were caught on camera breaking into Lal Mirch Indian Restaurant.

The burglary in mid-October was one of dozens that have targeted local restaurants, deputies say.

According to a sheriff’s report, the men caused $7,000 damage, stole 20 bottles of wine and $700 in cash from the register and an office cabinet in Lal Mirch.

Burglars caused $1,000 in damage at the neighboring Sushi Raku Japanese Restaurant that same night, deputies said.

Sheriff's deputies arrested three people in connection with a burglary at Baja Fresh in Calabasas. Deputies say it is not clear these suspects were involved with other break-ins.
