The stolen credits cards were then used for a shopping spree. Sheriff's detectives are hoping you may recognize them.

Detectives from the sheriff’s Malibu/Lost Hills Station asked for the public’s help today in identifying two suspects who stole credit cards and cash from a frame shop proprietor.

The theft occurred at 1:30 p.m. on July 28 in the 5900 block of Kanan Road in Agoura Hills, said Heather Fuquay with the sheriff’s station.

The female suspect distracted the proprietor in the back of the store while a male partner stole the cards. The proprietor had left her wallet on her desk in an open office.
