Fire Causes Major Damage to Agoura El Pollo Loco

It took nearly 75 firefighters more than 90 minutes to declare a knockdown

A fire caused major damage to the attic of an El Pollo Loco restaurant in Agoura tonight and it took nearly 75 firefighters more than 90 minutes to declare a knockdown.

The fire at 5050 Kanan Road was reported at 5:40 p.m. and knocked down at 7:18 p.m., a dispatcher said.

Firefighters were expected to be on scene for a while for an extensive overhaul, the dispatcher said.

The dispatcher said she did not know if there were any injuries.
