Getting Fit in Agoura, Part 1 [VIDEO]
With this easy-to-follow, six-week video program, you, too, may be able to reach your personal fitness goals.
After the birth of my second child six years ago, I was left with a slight mid-section bulge. I wear loose-fitting clothes, so you probably wouldn't even notice it, but I sure do.
I've often thought about getting a tummy tuck (too expensive and painful) or trying something called cool sculpting (too experimental); in other words, quick fixes.
This year, as my own personal New Year's resolution, I decided to go the old-fashioned route–exercise. Yes, I'm willing to work hard to get my old body back, finally!

And I figured I would take my readers along on my personal journey to perhaps help those with similar goals.
In addition to toning up, I'm hoping to gain endurance and pump up my daily energy, so I don't feel like taking a long nap by 3 p.m.

Jessica Unbewust, co-owner of will be helping me reach my goal. She has developed a six-week program* that includes workouts and nutrition and insists by the end of our plan, if I follow it closely, I will notice the difference.
I figured, what have I got to lose, right?
To start out, Unbewust gave me an overview of what to expect over the next few weeks. She will implement functional training, a combination of weights and movement that affects multiple muscle groups. She said the best way to get started nutritionally is to add more , i.e. fresh fruits and vegetables.
She also stresses . Though there will be days I'd rather stay in or grab fast food, it's important to stick with my routine, no matter what.
