3. Save Hendrix Bone Marrow Donor Drive

Friends and family of 2-year-old Hendrix Wille are holding a bone marrow donor drive in hopes to find a donor for the boy who was recently diagnosed with a very rare type of leukemia. The event is being held from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Fire Station 32, 830 S Reino Rd. in Newbury Park. For more information, click here.

4. Conejo Orchid Society Annual Show and Sale in Thousand Oaks

The Conejo Orchid Society is holding its annual Orchid Show and Sale at the Thousand Oaks Public Library, June 8 - 10. This free event will be an opportunity for the community to learn about orchids and the Conejo Orchid Society and to try their hand at growing some of the most beautiful and unusual plants in the world. The event takes place from 1-3 p.m. at 1401 E. Janss Road in Thousand Oaks.

5. Tracking for Answers-Nature Walk

If you like story-telling, then you will love this program. Tracks tell stories of the most extraordinary kind and discover the wonderful world of “reading the landscape stories” and the animals who “wrote” them. Moderate 1-1.5 mile hike at (26800 Mulholland Hwy, Calabasas) at 5 p.m. Meet at the parking lot to left of pond.
