4. Student Art Show

Experience over 160 artworks in acrylics, oils, charcoal, pastels and watercolors at at 12 p.m. Attendees are encouraged to vote by public ballot for their favorite piece in each age classification. The public is invited to the free artist’s reception and show opening and encouraged to take part in voting to determine the best artists in 32 categories.

5. Ships of Our Ancestors

This presentation of the the Jewish Genealogical Society of the Conejo Valley and Ventura County (JGSCV) focuses on the ships on which Jewish ancestors traveled, discussing the shift from sail to steam and the governmental regulations which made ship travel safer and more civilized.
