Updated at 8:40 p.m.AGOURA HILLS, CA - A truck struck a power pole on Kanan Dume Road near Agoura Hills on Thursday, sending one person to a hospital and prompting a closure expected to last until morning.Power lines were knocked down as a result of the crash, which was reported about 3:15 p.m. at Sierra Creek Road, according to the Los Angeles County Fire Department.One person was taken to a hospital, a dispatcher said, but that person's age, gender and condition were not available.A Southern California Edison crew was summoned to make repairs.Kanan Dume Road was closed in both directions and the closure was expected to last into Friday morning, according to Malibu Emergency Services, which reported that the road was expected to be reopened in time for the morning commute.--City News Service, photo via Shutterstock
