Kanan Dume Road Reopens After Downed Power Lines Force 14-Hour Closure
A Jeep Cherokee struck a power pole, knocking down live power lines. Kanan Dume Road was closed in both directions for repairs to the lines.

AGOURA HILLS, CA - Authorities on Friday reopened a section of Kanan Dume Road in Agoura Hills that was closed for more than 14 hours after a Jeep Cherokee struck a power pole, knocking down live power lines and sending one person to a hospital.
The crash at Sierra Creek Road was reported at around 3:10 p.m. Thursday, according to the California Highway Patrol. One person was taken to a hospital, a dispatcher said. That person's age, gender and condition were not immediately available.
A SigAlert was declared by the CHP, Kanan Dume Road was closed in both directions, and a Southern California Edison crew was sent to make repairs.

The roadway was reopened shortly before 6 a.m., CHP Officer Tony Polizzi said.
