VIDEO: Mitrice Richardson Story on Investigation Discovery Television

The mysterious disappearance and ultimate discovery of the remains of Mitrice Richardson, 24, is the subject of an episode of Disappearance, entitled "Lost in the Dark" on ID Television.

Richardson was last seen alive being released with no purse or cellphone from the Malibu/Lost Hills Sheriff's Station around 1 a.m. on Sept. 17, 2009. She was arrested earlier that evening for failing to pay an $89 bill at Geoffrey's in Malibu.

Her skeletal remains were found nearly a year later on Aug. 9, 2010 in the Monte Nido area of Calabasas.

The cities of Agoura Hills and Calabasas, working with the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department, are jointly offering a $15,000 reward for information that leads to the arrest and conviction of the person or persons responsible for Richardson's death.
