4. Genealogy at the Agoura Hills Library

Join Jan Meisels Allen, genealogy expert, at the library for an informative program covering the use of family documents, timelines, census records, immigration and naturalization records, family photos, newspaper research and interviewing to trace your family history. Whether you are new to genealogy or a seasoned genealogist, there is something for everyone to learn. The program runs from 6:30-8 p.m.

5. Los Angeles County Fire Department CERT Training

Train for 'Light Search & Rescue/Terrorism' at 9 p.m. in the Community Room of the Agoura Hills Civic Center, 30001 Ladyface Court.
