The Agoura Hills Planning Commission approve new designs presented by the McDonald's franchise architects at Thursday night's meeting.

The Agoura Hills Planning Commission unanimously approved revised exterior site plans for the McDonald's located at 29161 Canwood Street Thursday night.
Franchise architect Ron Underwood stated at the meeting that he took into consideration the commission's as well as the public's concerns regarding the original designs that were proposed at the January 17 meeting, which included a yellow arc and mansard.

"I appreciate the concessions," said Michael Justice, vice chair. "I think the concerns were adequately addressed."
Though Commissioner Linda Northrup found the new look to be a bit "boxie," she found the design to be "compatible with the surrounding buildings."
Before moving forward, the architects must now seek approval from McDonald's.
