Sentencing Delayed for John Creech Whose Home Was Searched in Missing Fox Exec Case
The admitted drug dealer faces up to 10 years in jail for a drug case unrelated to the disappearance of Fox film executive Gavin Smith.
The sentencing of an admitted drug dealer caught up in the investigation of missing Gavin Smith has been delayed again, according to the NBCLA website.
John Creech's new sentencing date is Sept. 25, said the site.
According to the site, the West Hills man was arrested by Glendale Police, who observed Creech make a drug drop in Chatsworth during a 2010 surveillance operation. Creech, 39, pleaded guilty in the drug case and faces up to 10 years in jail, said the site.

Creech was free on his own recognizance at the time Smith disappeared, said NBCLA.
The site reports that the Smith case is still being investigated as a disappearance and has not been determined to be a homicide, according to Los Angeles County sheriff's spokesman Steve Whitmore.
