Students Walk to School to Promote Dole Great Race of Agoura Hills

Dozens of Yerba Buena Elementary School students walked to school Tuesday morning to promote awareness and sign-ups for this year's Dole Great Race of Agoura Hills.

Leading the way were Principal Christina Desiderio, Mayor Denis Weber and City Manager Greg Ramirez.

For 28 years the Great Race has served the community, raising over $1.4 M for Agoura Hills and Oak Park elementary schools and high schools’ athletic programs. Through fitness awareness programs at the seven Agoura Hills and Oak Park elementary schools, the Great Race help promotes student nutrition and exercise challenges.
