SweetXO to Hold Grand Opening
This innovative neighborhood lifestyle concept and shopping destination–with plans for national expansion—opens its doors to the public on April 1.

SweetXO opens its door to the public on Sunday, April 1. This unique brainchild of serial concept developers, Scott Ehrlich and Rick Gutierrez, is a modern interpretation of the five & dime candy and soda shops of years past, creatively combining a full yogurt bar, a candy store, a cupcake bakeshop and a lifestyle/gift shop all within a sophisticated and modern ambiance.
“Our goal was to create a place where everyone would want to explore, taste, hang out, and connect”, said Ehrlich, a real estate and concept developer who lives in the area.
Located within the Twin Oaks Shopping Center in the former Blockbuster Video space (next to Starbucks), SweetXO occupies a large open space that features a large yogurt bar, a Coke FreeStyle fountain, a cupcake, brownie and cookie counter, a tea and hot chocolate bar, retail lifestyle and gift displays, a private party room, as well as bulk candy and packaged candy treats. The decor is a combination of upscale modern with a whimsical colorful touch creating a fun and comfortable ambiance to relax or have fun.
